YCP Minister Satires On Heroes Remunerations

AP irrigation minister Anil Kumar reacted to hero Nani’s comments on movie ticket prices and the YCP minister went on to make satirical remarks against Telugu heroes.

“There is only one Nani who is famous in Andhra and he is Kodali Nani Anna. We are not bothered about other Nani’s and their comments,” satired Anil Kumar.

On the ticket prices, the YCP minister has his version to say. “If the film’s budget is costing Rs 100 for example, Rs 80 is going towards the remuneration of the heroes and the remaining is the film’s budget. If the ticket prices are low, heroes’ remuneration will also come down and so they are worried about their pockets,” said Anil.

The YCP minister cited the example of Pawan Kalyan. “I heard that ‘Vakeel Saab’ was made with Rs 70 odd crore and Pawan Kalyan’s remuneration is said to be between Rs 45 crore to Rs 50 crore. Pawan has a craze and he is cashing most of it. This means the film’s budget is just twenty percent while the remuneration is eighty percent,” added Anil.

The minister has a message for fans too. “I was also one of you (fans) in the past. I sold my personal belongings and took money from my parents to tie banners at cinema halls. If fans spend money on their own and are willing to shell more money for movie tickets, it’s their wish and no one can help them. But one day they would realize that this is just a waste of time, money and energy,” stated Anil.

Post Nani’s comments, minister Botsa and many others reacted in a belittling tone and it suggests that the YCP government will be adamant in controlling the ticket prices no matter what.
