CBN Handled Seat Sharing Very Well, Pawan Clarifies

Andhra Pradesh election battle has returned to full force with the local body election procedure starting up. This had resulted in significant pressure buildup within the NDA alliance as well, considering that Janasena was expecting a bigger seat share which couldn’t be honoured due to prior equations.

As a result, there was a bit of friction within the supporters as concerns were raised about the percentage of seats allocated to each of the parties. With TDP, being the structurally and historically stronger party, it naturally got more seats which was contested by a section of JSP leaders locally.

Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan took upon himself to clarify on this matter as he meticulously explained the series of events leading to the local body election seat sharing procedure.

Kalyan pointed out that the fighting spirit and competitive nature between the alliance parties grew up after the significant victory in the 2024 election. “There is a lot more fighting spirit within the alliance parties now, and it is an natural to be more aspiring. We were able to manage the seatsharing in 2024 election very smoothly, but things got intense in the ongoing local polls.” Kalyan said.

The deputy CM went on to credit chief minister Chandrababu Naidu for using his experience and versatility to mediate between the parties and find common ground. This was a very strong attempt from the CM to settle the internal conflict in a settled and diplomatic manner.

Pawan Kalyan advised the local leaders to take inspiration from the top leadership in maintaining the stability of the alliance in order to enhance the overall prospect of the state.
