Chandrababu Is On Vacation To Thailand

After nearly two years, TDP president and Opposition leader N. Chandrababu Naidu had gone on a vacation to Thailand along with his family members on December 24. However, there is no information about when he would return. None in the bureaucratic or media circles had information about his vacation.

Recently, he broke down in the public after the ruling party members made ‘abusive’ comments against his wife in the Assembly. He even vowed to return to the House only after he became the Chief Minister. In fact, Naidu never displays his feelings in the public but apparently, not able to control the pain over being humiliated for his party’s defeat in his native constituency during the municipal elections held recently and the abuses hurled at his wife, he buried his face in his palms and cried inconsolably.

The TDP was drubbed in all the elections, parishad, municipal and panchayat, held in the last few months. Telugu Desam party is facing its worst-ever crisis with the party being pushed into oblivion in neighbouring Telangana and being crushed by the ruling YCP in Andhra Pradesh.

Naidu rarely goes on holidays. He is always engaged in the party affairs or government business and mostly available to his party cadre. Probably, Naidu could have been persuaded by his family members to take a break from the routine and venture out to rejuvenate himself.

The former Chief Minister went on a vacation to Europe in June, 2019, along with his family members. Even at that time, there was no information about the countries he would visit in the continent. Before that, Naidu went to Turkey in 2015.
