Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national general secretary Nara Lokesh took to his Twitter profile today to reveal that he tested positive for COVID-19. The rise in Coronavirus cases is troubling all the state governments. Lokesh who was planning to roll out multiple plans in his constituency Mangalagiri has now to limit himself to home.
“I have tested positive for COVID-19. I’m asymptomatic and feeling fine but will be self-isolating until recovery. I request those who have come in contact with me to get tested at the earliest and take necessary precautions. Urging everyone to stay safe,” tweeted Lokesh.
Earlier today, Nara Lokesh shared a letter to CM YS Jagan on social media. In his letter, Lokesh requested the chief minister to extend the Sankranthi vacation to all educational institutions in the state.
Lokesh mentioned that the vaccines are still not completely available for students aged below 15 and in the wake of the third wave in the state, the ex-TDP MLA requested Jagan to announce the extension of holidays for the students.
