CMs Salaries: KCR Drawing Highest!

Chief Ministers hold a very prominent role in taking decisions on policy matters and steering the state in the path of development. Of course, their services are paid for by the people. As they are government servants, their expenses are borne by the government.

Now, let us see if the CMs in our country take thousands or lakhs as salaries for their services.

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao charges the most in both the Telugu states. In fact, KCR is the CM paid the highest salary in the entire country. He takes a salary of Rs 4,10,000 per month while is counterpart in Andhra Pradesh draws Rs 3,35,000, fifth highest salary in the country.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal stands second with Rs 4,00,000, while UP CM Yogi Adityanath stands third with Rs 3,65,000 and Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray stands fourth with Rs 3, 40,000.

While Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani draws Rs 3,21,000, Himachal Pradesh CM Jairam Thakur takes
Rs 3,10,000. Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar stands at Rs 2,88,000, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren at Rs 2,72,000, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan takes Rs 2,55,000.

Bhupesh Baghel, CM of Chattisgarh and Capt. Amarinder Singh, CM of Punjab takes Rs 2,30,000 a month each. Goa CM Pramod Sawant draws Rs 2,20,000, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar takes home
Rs 2,15,000, while his counterpart in West Bengal, Mamta Banerjee takes Rs 2,10,000.

Tamil Nadu CM K. Palanisami draws Rs 2,05,000, Karnataka CM Yediyurappa stands at Rs 2,00,000, Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang takes Rs 1,90,000 while Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan and Tripura CM Biplab Kumar Deb draw Rs 1,85,000 each.

Mizoram CM Zoramthanga takes Rs 1,84,000 while his counterparts Ashok Gehlot (Rajasthan) and Trivendra Singh Rawat (Uttarakhand) take Rs 1,75,000 each.

Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik draws Rs 1,65,000 while a least of Rs 1,10,000 is taken by Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio.
