Darsanam Mogilayya, the stair kinnara artiste is one of the personalities from Telangana to receive the Padma Shri award from the central government. After the announcement of the Padma award, Telangana CM KCR announced a reward of Rs. 1 Crore for the construction of his house in Hyderabad with all other necessities.
It is known that Mogila has not had a proper house for so many days. After coming to know the same, KCR has invited Mogilayya to his office on Friday and felicitated him grandly. Later, he announced Rs. 1 Crore rupees.
Mogilaiah’s hometown is Gatturaipakula, Telkapalli Mandal, Nagarkurnool District. He spends most of his time with the 12-step Kinnear he received from his grandparents.
He shot to fame after the makers of Bheemla Nayak featured him in the film’s title song.
KCR is delighted over Mogilayya receiving the Padma Shri award. He appreciated him for the preservation of the great art form that Telangana is proud of. The CM said that the government has already recognized his art and is also offering an honorarium. The Chief Minister reiterated that while reviving the arts of Telangana, we will respect and protect the artists.
