A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s comments in Rajya Sabha over injustice meted out to Andhra Pradesh state, ex Congress MP and close aide of late YS Rajasekhar Reddy Undavalli Arun Kumar has hit out at ruling YSRCP and its 23 MPs for not reaching out to the centre for the interests of the state. Undavalli didn’t even spare CM Jagan.
Undavalli asked AP MPs to demand for discussion in the Parliament on PM Modi’s statements about AP bifurcation. He asked ruling YSRCP party which has strength in the house to take up the issues of the state. In a straight question to CM Jagan, Undavalli asked why YCP MPs are not issuing a notice in the Parliament seeking debate on Modi’s comments.
“This is not against to PM Narendra Modi right? Issuing notice in Lok Sabha for a debate on Modi’s comments on AP isn’t against PM. Then why is Jagan and YCP MPs are scared of Modi?” commented Undavalli. Undavalli reiterated how AP is bifurcated shutting the doors of Parliament and stopping the live telecast. He also stated that then PM Manmohan Singh’s assurance on Special Category Status to AP was ignored.
Undavalli is known for his outspokenness and neutral approach. He was known for criticising Chandrababu and TDP when in power. Undavalli’s videos are getting good traction on Youtube and other social platforms where common people are largely supporting his comments against Jagan and YCP.
