Talk: Jagan Moving To Vizag By April?

In what could be a sensational development in the capital row, AP CM YS Jagan is planning to make Vizag as the full-fledged capital of the state instead of ‘Three Capitals.’ One of leading media outlets, Times of India carried out a special feature that Jagan has made up his mind on picking up the capital region.

Before or after Ugadi, the capital will be shifted from Amaravati to Vizag and CM Jagan will also move to the beach city. Currently the AP government is busy with reorganisation of districts and this process will be completed by March 18th. Jagan also wants to get done with the appointments of Collectors and SPs for the new districts by April 2nd. Once this exercise is over, CM Jagan will be moving to Vizag and will be administering from the beach city.

CM Jagan’s pitch for Vizag comes in the wake of him asking the Tollywood celebrities to set up studios and their second homes in the beach city. The other day Megastar Chiranjeevi and star heroes, directors met Jagan. During this meeting Jagan asked the Tollywood delegation to consider Vizag as the next destination for the film industry and added that the beach city can compete with Hyderabad, Chennai in terms of development and infrastructure. Jagan also offered free lands for homes and studios.

On the other hand officials from AP CMO said that in all likelihood Vizag would become the lone capital of the state adding a big twist to the ‘Three Capitals’ row.
