Naidu’s Land In Naravaripalle Encroached

Published by

Miscreants began attempts to encroach land belonging to former chief minister and Opposition leader N. Chandrababu Naidu in his native village, Naravaripalle. The villagers tried to stop the encroachers from taking possession of the land. Fencing works are on at the 38 cents belonging to Naidu.

However, neither the police nor Naidu’s family members have reached the place to stop the encroachers from carrying on their activity.

It is being said that the land registered in the name of Naidu is being eyed by the encroachers only because they have the backing of the ruling YCP leaders.

In 1989, Naidu’s father had bought 87 cents in the village. After sometime, Naidu himself had generously donated some land for a hospital and a function hall, leaving the former CM with 38 cents.

This morning, one Rajendra Naidu and his supporters, all belonging to Naravaripalle, trespassed into the land and claimed ownership. When the villagers tried to prevent them, they warned them not to interfere into the issue and that they would settle the issue with Chandrababu Naidu.

The former CM has a house in his native village which is maintained by workers and security staff, while Naidu and his family members live either in Hyderabad or Amaravati.

In such a situation, the encroachers are continuing with their activity, despite opposition from the villagers and Naidu’s kin.

It is learnt that TDP leaders and party functionaries are on the way and would reach the village in the next few hours.
