The total Covid- 19 cases in India has crossed nine lakh mark and this has made India achieve an unwanted record. 28,498 new cases and 553 deaths reported in the last 24 hours. While the total cases and death tally is 9,06,752 and 23,727 respectively.
The total cases includes 11,565 active cases and 5,71,460 discharged cases. Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) claimed that 1,20,92,503 samples have been tested till July 13th and about 2,86,247 samples were tested yesterday.
Telangana has 36,221 cases while Andhra Pradesh has 31,103 cases.
NITI Aayog CEO stated that Telangana and Bihar states are not doing adequate tests to detect the virus and this will have a huge impact in the next two or three months.
