The three BJP MLAs i.e, Etela Rajender, T Raja Singh and M Raghunandan Rao were suspended from the Telangana Assembly budget sessions for interrupting finance minister Harish Rao’s budget speech. Surprisingly, the suspension is for the complete session.
And even more surprisingly T-PCC chief Revanth Reddy has come in support of BJP’s ‘R R & R’ and called for a protest all over Telangana.
“Even though our ideologies are poles apart, the manner in which BJP MLAs were suspended is unacceptable. To show dissent is a constitutional right and in the past we have done many such protests in united Andhra. We even protested against the Governor’s speech but we never faced such actions. This act of the TRS government shows it is scared of the opposition. Accordingly I appeal to the entire Congress cadre to stage a protest at every mandal centre across Telangana. We will also lodge a complaint with the Governor,” said Revanth.
This decision of Revanth Reddy surprised many, including many Congress leaders. Taking this as an advantage, the TRS leaders added that the nexus between Congress and BJP is now exposed.
“Revanth’s history is connected to RSS which is BJP’s root cause and we are not surprised by this new alliance,” added a TRS leader.
Well Revanth should have spoken more about the budget and protested against the TRS government on budget allocations. Supporting BJP MLAs might backfire!
