Veerappan’s Daughter Gets Promotion In BJP

Notorious sandalwood smuggler Veerappan’s daughter Vidya has joined the BJP earlier this year in February. In a span of six months, Vidya Veerappan has grown in the party and the leadership has now given her promotion too.

A lawyer by profession, Vidya has been appointed vice-president of Tamil Nadu state Yuva Morcha. Tamil Nadu BJP chief Dr. L Murugan acknowledged this in an official statement. However this has led to a huge debate with the Tamil Nadu BJP. Though Vidya is quite capable and an active leaders, a few insiders opined that there are many seniors in the party. Overall it’s a mixed reaction from TN BJP.

The central BJP is eyeing the assembly elections next year and this time, it wants to cash the opportunity as there are no charismatic leaders after late Jayalalithaa and Karunanidhi. Though MK Stalin is doing a bit, BJP wants to create an impact and is making moves swiftly and strengthening the party whenever, it is seeing an opportunity.
