Key Post To Prashant Kishore in Congress?

Poll strategist Prashant Kishor is chalking out a master strategy for the Opposition Congress to take on ‘monster’ duo Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. PK is closely working with the Congress top brass. However, Congress senior leaders want Prashant Kishor to officially join the Congress party and take a key post within the party. Congress leaders, however, leave the final decision to the party chief Sonia Gandhi.

Meanwhile, it needs to be seen whether PK is ready to join the Congress officially or would he just supports the party as an outsider. PK has earlier joined Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) in Bihar. However, differences surfaced later and ties severed.

Since then PK is staying away from active politics Congress, who is desperate to revive the party, is leaving no stone unturned to strengthen the party and retain its leaders, party workers. Congress has been routed in the back-to-back polls in various states pushing the party into troubles. On the other hand, BJP and its allies have gained phenomenally.

Prashant Kishor had earlier stated that it is “not impossible” to defeat PM Narendra Modi in 2024. He, however, had stated that Opposition in the country needs a face to take on Modi. One has to wait and see, whether PK would be successful in bringing the anti-Modi parties on one platform whether he could be able to project a strong leader nationally against Modi.
