With Covid-19 in place, AP CM YS Jagan was mostly confined to his camp office in Tadepalli for the last two years. He launched many welfare schemes from his office and just a few months back with pandemic impact at low level, he started coming out of the camp office.
Very soon Jagan will be kick-starting a tour covering all the districts including new ones. In this tour Jagan would be promoting the welfare schemes being implemented by his government for the poor and economically weaker sections of the society. And for this tour, Jagan has opted for a bullet proof bus.
The AP CMO has officially announced this news and they have instructed the APSRTC to arrange the bullet proof bus with all the facilities. Surprisingly it was in Chandrababu Naidu’s regime that two bullet proof buses were purchased in 2015 weighing Rs 10 crore and even more surprisingly Jagan is going to tour in these buses. With orders coming from the AP CMO, RTC MD Dwaraka Tirumala Rao inspected the efficiency of the bullet proof buses. Along with the buses, a pantry will also be arranged for Jagan.
Coming to Jagan’s tour, he will be meeting people and explain that his government has implemented ninety percent of the poll promises made during the elections in just three years. Jagan added that his YCP government has the full support of the people.
The conflict here is, if people are happy and satisfied with the YCP government, does Jagan need a bullet proof bus? A few years back, Jagan went on a walkathon (Paadayatra) and he met thousands of people and learned their problems. Back then Jagan was the opposition leader and his security was equal to the ranks of a cabinet minister. No bullet proof buses were used in Jagan’s Paadayatra and now the scenario is different.
Thus it says that not all poll promises were implemented by Jagan and he too knows the reality. Just in case if people may overturn Jagan’s tour, the bullet proof bus comes in handy, opined the opposition leaders.
