#CMConvoy: Officials ‘Coverup’ Story Gets Trolled

In a bizarre incident, a vehicle of pilgrims who were heading to Tirumala for deity blessings, was taken away by the cops in order to arrange a convoy for CM Jagan. This incident was reported in Ongole district ahead of Jagan’s visit. It was shocking that the police could not arrange vehicles on time but trouble the common man and his family in the middle of the night.

With the news reaching CM Jagan, he ordered suspension of concerned officials for causing severe inconvenience to the public especially the pilgrims who were on their way to Tirumala. Later a probe was launched by the RTA department into why the police failed to deploy required vehicles for the convoy on time.

The District Transport Officer of Prakasham district, Srikrishnaveni added that there was a communication gap behind the whole episode. “The fitness of the vehicle that was seized was not up to the standards of the RTA. We have informed the owner of the vehicle and asked him to get a fitness clearance (FC) certificate at the earliest,” said the deputy commissioner Srikrishnaveni.

These comments from the officers are just laughable and it’s clear that she is covering up the whole controversy by throwing the blame on the vehicle’s fitness.
