All said and done, a happening TV channel and newspaper’s support is quintessential for tuning the hearts and minds of audiences in favour of a politician or political party these days. Without understanding this or maybe ignoring this, Janasena President Pawan Kalyan felt that Twitter and YouTube will do the needful for him. But it looks he hasn’t learnt his lesson even after the general election debacle where tweets and likes didn’t turn into votes.
Other day Pawan has come up with an interview, which has him answering certain political questions and general things too, and published right away on his Janasena YouTube channel. Rather that, if Pawan has given interviews to some of the leading news channels, definitely it would have worked big time for him. One may ask, which happening channel is ready to take his interview? But there are a few that are ready to take.
Or otherwise, Pawan should have invited all the leading YouTube channels that cater to Telugu people and should have given group interviews such that he would have got millions of viewership cumulatively. These political interviews are not like cinema teasers and trailers that everyone will watch. So an interview video released on single youtube channel will not create impact.
If we look at Pawan’s political moves ever since the inception of Janasena, a lot of times he was affected by bad PR activities. Looks like he is not taking stock of it and yet to come out of such mediocre planning.
