TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu termed Jagan as an iron leg to the state and so Andhra is lagging behind in welfare and development eventually led to bankruptcy. Chandrababu was in Vizag and took part in the ‘Baadhude Baadhudu’ protest against Jagan government’s policies towards hiking electricity and transport fares.
In this very meeting Chandrababu also sent out a clear message to TDP leaders and cadre. Speaking, Naidu said, “Leaders who are reachable to the public and address their concerns will be given importance and the party will recognise them at a later point of time. Initiatives such as this should be taken to the public and let them know the facts of how the YCP government is deceiving them. Leaders and cadre should work with a view of the next elections and for the 30 years of TDP government.”
On the cases being lodged against TDP leaders and cadre, Chandrababu assured them not to get scared of such tactics. “I will fully support every leader who agitates against the anti-public policies of the YCP government. Do not fear cases, once TDP is back in power, a special tribunal will be set up to deal with these cases,” added Chandrababu.
Criticising the cheap tactics of YCP and Jagan, Chandrababu said that TDP doesn’t indulge in gimmicks like ‘Kodi Katthi’ episode but the party can eliminate political psychos.
