AICC former president Rahul Gandhi is in Telangana and yesterday, he addressed the Rythu Sangharshana Yatra. The ruling TRS leaders have been terming both the BJP and Congress leaders as outsiders and urging the people not to believe in them as they do not have complete knowledge about the state.
Taking a jibe at Rahul, TRS leader and minister K.T. Rama Rao made a mockery of him saying that he does not know the difference between ‘vadlu’ (paddy) and ‘edlu’ (buffaloes). He just needs to deliver some dialogues and be done with the speech, KTR said.
KTR said that political tourists come and go. “Every day, some or the other tourist is coming to Telangana. The other day, one tourist came to Mahbubnagar. Yesterday, a different tourist came to Warangal. Somebody wrote the script and gave it to him. He came and just read out the entire script without knowing what is really plaguing the public,” KTR said
The TRS leader said: “He (Rahul) does not know anything in Telangana. He does not know the difference between ‘vadlu’ and ‘edlu’. He just did everything like a formality and was out of the place,” KTR criticized.
The TRS tried to prove that Rahul is an outsider by releasing a video which showed Rahul asking his party leaders what was the theme of the meeting he would be addressing. He asked them what should he speak.
The TRS scion has been fuming at the BJP-led NDA at the Centre for doing no good to Telangana even when the state contributed towards the revenue of the country.
