‘Ran Away Like A coward?’, Sharmila Asks KCR

YS Sharmila took a dig at Telangana CM KCR on PM Narendra Modi’s visit to Hyderabad the other day. Taking to her Twitter Sharmila recited the old comments on KCR made against Modi and questioned where did he run away when Modi landed in Hyderabad.

“KCR said he would dismantle the walls of New Delhi but where was he when Modi arrived in Hyderabad? Why did he not question Modi on procurement of Paddy and minimum support price? Did you run away like a coward fearing Modi,” questioned Sharmila.

Sharmila did not leave PM Modi as well. “Both KCR and Modi accuse each other of corruption and claim that they have evidence to prove. Ironically both leaders don’t confront and expose their corruption allegations. By having a secret understanding, both leaders try to fool the people and take political benefit out of it,” added Sharmila in another tweet.

Indeed CM KCR’s absence for Modi’s visit has yet again raked up a debate. Political analysts say that KCR is deliberately avoiding Modi in the official visit but the former has his reasons to do so. Given the rivalry between TRS and BJP, the 2023 Assembly polls are going to be a tough battle for the ruling party.
