Nimmagadda Takes Charge As APSEC

After many twists and turns, Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has finally taken over as the AP Election Commission. From Hyderabad, Nimmagadda reached Vijayawada this morning and straight away headed to the Election Commission office.

Post taking charge, Nimmagadda said, “As per the AP Governor’s notification, I took over as Election Commissioner on Friday and all the district Collectors were informed about this development. Election Commission Secretary Vaani Mohan was asked to pass on the information.”

Further Nimmagadda said, “Election Commission is an independent Constitutional body and doesn’t bow down to anyone irrespective of caste, creed, region and religion.” When asked about AP government’s support to the Election Commission especially him, Nimmagadda replied that like previously, he is expecting similar coordination between the government and poll panel.

Finally after three months of suspense, Nimmagadda’s episode comes to an end. But can never trust YSRCP government. They might pull the plug from nowhere.
