Hours after resigning, Indians took to their social media and trolled Boris Johnson. A couple of months back Johnson visited India and he posed for cameras in JCB at a factory in Gujarat. Apparently during then the BJP government was bulldozing homes and shops in several states in the wake of communal clashes.

The netizens trolled Boris for posing in JCB and endorsing the propaganda of PM Modi government. Renowned advocate Prashant Bhushan wrote, “So ‘Bulldozer’ #BorisJohnson resigns. He was a good phrand of Modiji like Doland Trump.”

Journalist Stuti Mishra added that do not go to other countries and mock their tragedies. Even if that country’s government wants you to. It’s bad luck! Another journalist Vidya appealed to God that Indians should also see such a thing happening in the country.

Meanwhile with Boris Johnson stepping down, a way has been made clear for a new face as PM and one name is in the front runner and it is of Indian origin Rishi Sunak. He is the son-in-law of Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy. If it happens, Rishi Sunak will be the first Indian origin man to be British PM.
