Viral: Vijayaendra Prasad’s Comments On Gandhi!

Unexpectedly Tollywood’s ace writer Vijayendra Prasad received Rajya Sabha ticket and being a non-political nomination, he accepted the offer and very soon he will be in the Upper House which will be of immense pride.

But in another unexpected event, a video of Vijayendra Prasad is circulating on social media and this is inviting a lot of debate among the historians. It was an interview and in this Vijayendra Prasad talked about the British leaving India and they asked Mahatma Gandhi to pick a person for the Prime Minister role.

Vijayendra Prasad said that Gandhi wanted Jawahar Lal Nehru to be the Prime Minister but within the Congress party, many leaders voted for Sardar Vallabhai Patel. The ‘RRR’ writer claimed that if Patel had been the PM of Independent India, the fate of Jammu & Kashmir would have been different now.

Many netizens who watched this video of Vijayendra Prasad disagreed with his version and produced many documented evidence that Patel never wanted to be the PM of India. Some netizens trolled Vijayaendra Prasad that he is acting like a Sanghi.

Was Vijayendra Prasad wrong about history? Well there are many assumptions one can make depending upon the knowledge they have about the history of Independence.
