Naidu Keeps Aside Sapadham, Steps Into Assembly

Published by

In November 2021, AP Assembly witnessed a disturbing incident. Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu was humiliated by the YCP and TDP rebel MLAs. Gutted by this insult Chandrababu Naidu took a pledge that he would return to Assembly only after TDP returns to power.

On Monday, the TDP chief was spotted at AP Assembly and it has a valid reason. In view of the Presidential elections, Chandrababu Naidu reached the Assembly to cast his vote. TDP has extended its support to BJP’s candidate Draupadi Murmu and the party has 0.6 percent overall vote share which is mere but can play a pivotal role. Chandrababu utilized his vote and left the Assembly in no time.

During the winter sessions of AP Assembly last year, Chandrababu was targeted by YCP MLAs. A couple of YCP MLAs dragged Nara Bhuvaneswari’s name and made disrespectful comments. Chandrababu was seriously upset with the remarks and he broke down into tears. Nandamuri family including the likes of Jr NTR condemned the comments insulting Nara Bhuvaneswari and the controversy forced YCP to remain unmoved.

But Chandrababu Naidu was stubborn in his decision to stay away from Assembly and for the last eight months, he did not see this side.
