TRS MLA Ramalinga Reddy Dies

TRS MLA from Dubbaka constituency Solipeta Ramalinga Reddy passed away in the wee hours of Thursday. According to his family members, Solipeta underwent a surgery to one of his legs at a private hospital about three weeks back. Unfortunately, the surgery was unsuccessful and his health condition kept worsening.

So Solipeta family members shifted him to AIG Hospital in Gachibowli about a week ago. But Solipeta had developed complications due to a stoppage of blood circulation to the surgery leg. Finally he breathed his last at 2:30 AM on Thursday.

Solipeta was 57 years and was survived by his wife, one son and one daughter. He started his career as journalist in the year 2001 and simultaneously stepped alongside KCR in the Telangana agitation. In 2004, 2008, 2014 and 2018, he successfully contested the assembly elections.

Telangana CM KCR has mourned the death of Solipeta and expressed his death sympathies to the family members.

The last rites of Solipeta will be held today at Chittapur village of Siddipet district.
