AP CM YS Jagan toured the flood affected villages in Ambedkar Konaseema district. At Udimudi Lanka village, Jagan interacted with people and learned about the floods and the damage it caused. Also Jagan enquired about the relief and rescue work done by district administration.
At Puchchakayalavaaripeta, an interesting incident took place. Jagan took an eight months old boy in his arms while taking pleas from the public. The eyes of the infant fell on the pen in Jagan’s pocket. The kid tried to take the pen but it fell on the ground. Having noticed this Jagan gifted the pen to the kid and blessed him and his mother.
The pen is said to be worth Rs 70,000 and luxury brand Mont Blanc manufactures such expensive pens. Jagan is often spotted with this pen in his pocket but none had any idea about its brand and cost until this incident took place.
