Ashwini Dutt Critical Remarks On YCP & TTD

Tollywood producer Ashwini Dutt was highly critical of the YCP government and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on handling the operations of Tirumala temple. In a press meet held in Hyderabad, Ashwini Dutt added that ever since YCP formed government in 2019, Tirumala and Tirupati were destroyed in every manner.

“Over the last three years, Tirupati’s reputation dented with every action of the YCP government. I still wonder why Lord Venkateswara Swami, who is witnessing these sins, is keeping himself restrained. Religious conversions have spiked in AP and the so-called Chinna Jeeyar Swamy is not uttering a word against such activities,” said Ashwini Dutt.

Recollecting the incident of relocation of ancient thousand-pillar mandapam at Tirumala, Ashwini Dutt defended the previous TDP government and TTD’s stand. “Then government and TTD took the decision to relocate the thousand-pillar mandapam as per Agama Shastra. But this decision was heavily criticised by Chinna Jeeyar Swami. The same Swami hailed AP CM Jagan to the sky and compared him with god during a statue inauguration and I could not digest it,” said Ashwini Dutt.

The veteran Tollywood producer expressed confidence that Chandrababu Naidu will return to power and restore the glory of the temple town. Ashwini Dutt’s comments may draw flak from the YCP government as ruling party leaders are intolerant against any criticism of Jagan and the party.
