Rajya Sabha MP and BJP leader CM Ramesh is the latest to test Covid positive. Ramesh, upon slight discomfort, got himself tested for Corona Virus and the result is positive. However, CM Ramesh is doing fine and there is nothing to worry. As he has no major symptoms, he has not been admitted to any hospital. Ramesh is currently under home quarantine.
None other than CM Ramesh himself revealed the news. Taking to Twitter, CM Ramesh said, “I have tested positive for #COVID__19. Whilst I am doing fine, I am being under isolation on the recommendation of doctors.”
Ramesh is from Kadapa district. Whilst he represented Rajya Sabha between 2014 and 2018 from TDP, he got the second consecutive term in 2018 from TDP. However, Ramesh along with Sujana Chowdary has quit TDP in 2019 and joined BJP.
CM Ramesh is an industrialist who is successful in his business. He is the Founder Chairman of Rithwik Projects Pvt. Ltd., which was set up in 1999 and it has grown to a turnover of more than 1000 Crores within a span of 14 years. The company is one of the leading Infrastructure Developers in India and has interests in energy, roads, irrigation projects and property development.
It can be noted that BJP leader and former Endowments Minister of AP Manikyala Rao succumbed to Covid. The likes of Vijay Sai Reddy have been recovered from the Corona Virus.
