AP CM Jagan is super confident that YCP will retain power in 2024 and this time, he wants to sweep the Assembly and Lok Sabha segments. That’s highly ambitious and nothing wrong in expecting such numbers but two surveys with two different opinions are bothering YCP.
According to a survey, if elections are held at the moment, YCP is likely to get only 30 seats. Inside Talk is that its an internal survey done by the YCP and learned about this report, the party decided to not let it out. Unfortunately the survey report leaked and not just prime leaders even CM Jagan is said to be worried.
A big man from Rayalaseema region also conducted a survey on people’s mood and in his report, it has come out that YCP would bag just 50 seats, if elections are held now. The common element found in both the surveys was that the YCP turned weak at the ground level instead of getting strengthened. CM Jagan was disturbed due to negative results in both the surveys.
Reviewing the ‘Gadapa Gadapaku YCP’ Jagan has come to a conclusion that he needs to change at least 70 sitting MLAs in the next polls. The rapport between regional coordinators and ministers is clearly missing in this drive that was initiated by the YCP government. Jagan is also disappointed with the performance of new ministers and he realised that the ministers’ attitude is troubling the party.
CM Jagan is likely to call every minister in person and would talk to them regarding the survey report and their performance so far. It seems that no one is showing much interest in the details of the YCP government welfare schemes. Most of the rural and urban beneficiaries in the state are a bit confused about the schemes and their implementation.
