The personal differences between AP CM YS Jagan and YSRTP chief Sharmila led to political consequences. Now both the brother and sister are not at all in talking terms. But YSR fans hoped that the auspicious Raksha Bandhan would bring them together.
Unfortunately and to the utter disappointment of YSR fans, Sharmila did not tie Rakhi to Jagan this year. Currently Sharmila is on a Paadayatra in Telangana and on Friday she was at Telangana PCC chief Revanth Reddy’s constituency Kodangal.
On social media, Sharmila extended Raksha Bandhan greetings with a simple tweet but there was no exclusive wishes to Jagan. Sharmila completed 1600 kilometres of Praja Prasthanam Paadayatra and she thanked everyone who stood by her during this feat.
But an old picture of Sharmila tying Rakhi to Jagan surfaced on the internet and when YSR fans fact checked it, their disappointment doubled.
