Munugode To Become The Most Expensive By-Poll?

The ruling TRS party is getting ready for the ultimate poll battle with Munugode. All these days TRS displayed its muscle power and now the party is getting ready to show its financial strength. Since Munugode by-poll can change the dynamics of 2023 Assembly elections, TRS is not sparing any opportunity against its rivals BJP and the Congress. In that line, TRS has raked up a new political ploy.

The TRS party has set its eyes on tier two leaders and prepared a list of names who have the power to influence the votes. Reportedly, These leaders are receiving umaginable offers from the ruling party and according to the sources, the offer is a financial support of Rs 10 Lakh per individual.

Recently 11 sarpanches belonging to Congress joined the TRS and seven MPTCs are also in thoughts to join the ruling party.

What’s notable here is that the notification for Munugode by-election is yet to be announced and never such political-poll offers were heard in Telangana before. The groundwork is being done on a large scale in order to increase pressure on the opposing parties before the election notification is released. Applying this formula, TRS is wooing the tier two leaders and offering them fancy deals that they cannot refuse.

Looking at these events, we can assume that Munugode by-election will go past Huzurabad by-election as the most expensive election ever in the state and probably in the country.
