Ghoshamahal MLA T Raja Singh who made provocative and derogatory comments against Prophet Muhammad has been suspended from the BJP. The BJP’s Central Disciplinary Committee member Om Pathak has written to Raja Singh informing about the suspension.
Besides suspension, the BJP has also removed Raja Singh from the Floor Leader position of the Telangana Assembly. He was asked to give an explanation for his comments within 10 days from the date of show cause notices were served.
Raja Singh episode resembles Nupur Sharma’s events. For giving all permits and ensuring security to stand up comedian Munawar Faruqui’s show, Raja Singh has come up with videos and he posted it on YouTube channel.
