KCR’s Andhra Tour In Oct, What’s Up?

TRS party reunited with the Left parties CPI and CPM, all thanks to the Munugode by-election. Both the parties have extended their support to KCR and TRS on one condition and that is to defeat BJP. Now that KCR is maintaining a good rapport with the communist parties, he received an invitation from CPI.

From October 14th to 18th, CPI will be holding its National Conference in Vijayawada and for this meeting, CPI’s central leaders have invited Telangana CM KCR. The Pragathi Bhavan sources have confirmed that KCR will be attending the annual meetings of CPI and is likely to travel to Vijayawada on October 16th or 17th. The final schedule is yet to be decided and the Telangan CMO will take a final call as per the schedule.

TRS party believes that KCR would be utilizing this meeting for his national ambitions. KCR is on the verge of floating a national party and he needs to take it to more states into account. AP plays a pivotal role but KCR hasn’t met AP CM Jagan or opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu in this regard.

After the 2019 polls, KCR and Jagan discussed multiple issues related to the Telugu states. But the talks did not progress further. The last time both officially met was in 2020 and unofficial in 2021 at a wedding ceremony. It is unclear whether KCR will meet AP CM Jagan in this tour of Vijayawada.
