Former minister Perni Nani said that Jana Sena was not a political party but an organization which works in favour of former CM and TDP boss N. Chandrababu Naidu. It is a pro-Naidu organization, he said.
All the political parties in Andhra Pradesh, irrespective of their ideologies are extending support to the capital region farmers’ Mahapadayatra’ underway from Amaravati to Arasavalli. Speaking about it, the former minister said that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is a very strong leader and that was the reason all the opposition parties are getting united to defeat him.
He reminded that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan had earlier spoken in support of setting up the High Court in Kurnool and even the Left parties had criticized Amaravati for not being the ‘people’s capital’. Now, all of them have ganged up and with the help of the Gang of Four (four media organisations that broadcast reports in favour of the TDP) are trying to cheat the people with a different narrative that Amaravati alone should be the capital of Andhra Pradesh. They all work for the benefit of Naidu, he said.
Perni Nani should remember that even Jagan had changed his stance from expressing his consent to Amaravati, reminded the TDP leaders. The YCP leaders just claim that their boss sticks to his word “Maata tappadu-madama tippadu” but he ignored all the policies against which he fought when Naidu was the Chief Minister after he assumed charge and occupied the seat, they pointed out.
