Praja Shanti Party chief KA Paul has filed nomination for the Munugode by-election. Before that Paul had announced singer Gaddar as their party candidate but this morning some dramatic scenes took place.
Being the last of nominations, there was a rush from candidates. Speaking to media on filing the nominations, Paul added that this morning he along with Gaddar set off to the local RDO office. But Paul alleged that the police department created many hurdles and stopped Gaddar from file nomination.
“Gaddar was restricted by the police and even his personal security refused to leave him. With no other option, I have come to Munugode to file a nomination. I will contest against the TRS, Congress and BJP,” said Paul. He urged the people of Munugode to bless and vote for him.
There are two days to withdraw the nomination and the Election Commission will also take a call on the nominations after carefully examining the affidavits and other documents.
In 2019, Paul has filed nomination for Narsapuram Lok Sabha seat. He received a rude shock with his nomination being rejected. Looks like the same scene is going to repeat now.
