Lady MP Trolled for TikTok Dance, Hits Back With New Video

The coronavirus lockdown is keeping the trollers and critics much active on social media. Trinamool Congress MP Nusrat Jahan is an actor turned politician and turned the target of trolls yesterday for her TikTok video, but she is sharp enough to hit back at them with another video.

The MP Nusrat Jahan posted a short clip of herself dancing to Megan Thee Stallion’s Savage on her TikTok account (nusratchirps) and tagged fellow MP Mimi Chakraborty with the #savagechallenge. That video triggered the trolls and they flooded her timeline criticizing her TikTok acts when the people in her Bashithat constituency are getting beaten for asking ration.

Some of the Twitter users came down heavily on her video, also blaming Mamata Banerjee for making Nusrat Jahan, a Muslim in Bashirhat area, calling it vote-bank politics. Another user said ‘Dancing MP better than criminal MP.

Nusrat Jahan remained unfazed by the trolls and in a hit back at them, she posted a new dance video on her TikTok and shared it on Twitter as well. She quoted it with “Oh and BTW, Sharing another fun post from my @TikTok_IN feed. An Artist always entertains Slightly smiling face Happy Trolling, Trollers!”

There were reports that the people in Bashirbat and Malancha in Kaharpara have been asking for ration and they also resorted to agitations for that. The distribution of relief material also triggered a violent clash in Baduria because of irregularities.
