CBN at Palnadu
Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to Palnadu was a grand success as the TDP chief got a rousing reception throughout his Yatra. In fact, Naidu too didn’t expect such a warm reception all over.
A shower of flowers, massive garlands and raising slogans of cadre and youths welcome, Naidu was shocked with the crowd who came out in large numbers in support of him.
The yatra which started at 11 AM on wednesday at Thimmapuram entered Gurazala at 9 PM. People in Gurazala were waiting to see Naidu. He cheered crowds and interacted with the people locally throughout the yatra.
Chilakaluripet, Narasaraopet and Gurazala constituencies where Naidu visited filled new energy in the TDP cadre. Nadendla, Thubadu villages saw large crowds. The party leaders, workers got a big boost following Chandrababu’s visit.
In many villages, women came with Harathi and welcomed him. Chandrababu was seen energetic throughout his Yatra. He went into the fields and spoke to cotton, chilli farmers directly.
Chandrababu went in support of farmers and their problems in the region. He visited the agricultural fields where crops were badly damaged due to incessant rains in Palnadu district.
Naidu said cotton farmers and chilli farmers were the worst hit in the region due to the rains. He said farmers incurred heavy losses. Naidu criticised CM Jagan for not helping the affected farmers and demanded that the state government should immediately step-in to help the farmers in Palnadu.
Naidu alleged that over 3,000 farmers committed suicide in the state after YS Jagan assumed office as the chief minister.
In Nadendla village, Chandrababu addressed large crowds for an hour. People were thoroughly impressed with Naidu’s speech where he criticised the government. Later, Naidu did a road show in Narasaraopet. On the whole, Naidu’s Palnadu visit turned out to be a big success and filled new confidence among the party leaders, cadre.
