Jagan – The ‘Hero-Maker’ Of Opposition?

In the recent past, every step or decision of AP CM YS Jagan and YCP government is receiving a setback. It has been from the beginning for Jagan to take ill-conceived decisions but this has become repetitive lately that every decision is striking back. This has turned into a boon for the opposition leaders.

Take the case of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s visit to Vizag. Unnecessarily the YCP government tried to restrict Pawan Kalyan using the police force. This episode had an anti climax for the YCP and Pawan gained a huge political advantage in this episode.

Freshly TDP senior leader Ayyanna Patrudu and his son were detained under dramatic circumstances. The CID police jumped into the Ayyanna’s house ar 3:00 AM in the midnight and created a lot of ruckus. These events shamed the YCP government.

It’s not new for the YCP government to target leaders who criticize them politically. YCP aimed at many leaders including their party’s rebel MP Raghuramakrishna Raju. The manner in which RRR was arrested by the police and how the police have alleged attempt og third degree against him became a hot topic at that time. Post this arrest, MP RRR received national attention and in media circles he is getting decent coverage. Now, every day RRR’s Rachabanda live on youtube channels getting lakhs of views daily.

However the image of YCP is getting damaged with such partisan actions and the leaders they target are becoming heroes. Simultaneously opposition leaders who are sensing revengeful acts by YCP government, are making their own plans in advance, to get out from the legal clutches. With the arrests of opposition leaders becoming a sensation in the media, YCP’s reputation took a massive beating.

Before Ayyanna Patrudu, TDP’s Pattabhi was also targeted by the YCP government. Even before Pattabhi was arrested, a sympathy factor worked in his favour. He turned hero without going into police custody and getting a bail. In this case, the court chided the YCP government.

We have heard of ‘KING – MAKER’ but CM Jagan is the ‘HERO – MAKER’ of opposition leaders.
