KA Paul Gets 34 Votes

Trust Praja Shanti Party chief KA Paul to offer non-stop entertainment and he never fails. While entire Telangana was witnessing an intense battle between the ruling TRS and the BJP in the Munugode by-poll, KA Paul made a surprise entry and contested as an MLA. Not stopping there, KA Paul even claimed that he will become the chief minister of Telangana in the next general election.

Cut to the counting day and KA Paul offers an extra dose of entertainment. While all the warring parties are anxiously awaiting the election results, KA Paul claimed that he will win Munugode with over 50,000 majority. Icing on the cake is that he even sought police permission to organize a victory rally after the full results are announced officially.

But, much to his disappointment, KA Paul could manage to get just about 34 votes in the first round. While TRS MLA candidate Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy clinched a crucial initial lead by securing 6096 votes, BJP’s Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy stood second with 4904 votes. Congress’ Palvai Sravanthi is in a distant third spot with just 1877 votes.

KA Paul expressed severe displeasure over the vote counting and demanded a fresh polling via ballot papers. He alleged that the EVM machines were tampered and vowed to move the High Court for justice. He appealed to the people of Telangana and India to save democracy from CM KCR and PM Narendra Modi respectively.
