Yet Another Controversy Troubles MP Gorantla

A few weeks ago, Hindupur YCP MP Gorantla Madhav’s nude video had created a huge controversy in AP politics. In the shocking video, Gorantla was allegedly seen in a nude avatar while he was on a video call with an unidentified woman. Although Gorantla had alleged that it was a politically motivated attempt to defame him, TDP leaders refuted his claims, saying that forensic experts had confirmed that it was Gorantla who was seen in the video.

Now, Gorantla has landed in yet another controversy. According to the latest reports, a person named Mallikarjuna Reddy has filed a complaint at Anantapur 4th Town police station, alleging that his tenant Gorantla is not paying the monthly house rent and electricity charges. The disgruntled owner also alleged that Gorantla threatened him by saying that he will get him run over by a tipper lorry if he pesters him again regarding the defaulted payment.

Mallikarjuna Reddy further revealed that Gorantla has defaulted over Rs 2 lakhs towards monthly rent and electricity charges. Vexed with Gorantla and his staff’s constant threats, the owner had earlier tried to sit on a protest in front of Gorantla’s house before police mediated between both the parties.

However, the owner had to finally lodge a police complaint after Gorantla failed to co-operate. Left with no option, cops are again trying to call Gorantla and his owner for another round of talks before the issue is blown out of proportion. Apparently, the owner is demanding Gorantla to vacate the house after clearing the pending payment.
