Andhra Pradesh local body elections have completed a crucial procedure today with municipal elecfion counting happening today. The results are very much in favour of the NDA coalition and that is always expected to be the case as well.
No we have the case of an interesting outcome in the Adoni municipal election as Janasena rebel candidate has managed to defeat the conventional favourites of YCP and TDP.
This extraordinary result is a pleasant surprise even to Janasena supporters locally as they weren’t expecting their rebel candidate to sweep the polls in opposition to TDP and YCP.
This was not an ordinary win either as this female candidate, Swapna Nayakar was able to display a majority of more than 3000 votes. This is a pretty extraordinary result for the JSP rebel who managed to defeat YCP and TDP by a solid margin.
This is not the first such outcome in the municipal election either as there have been several cases of rebel candidates sweeping the election. But the fact that the Janasena rebel was able to complete this achievement in the Rayalaseema region is the point of difference year.
This outcome might not have been in the expectation of the JSP leadership, but it displays the strength of the party in the Seema region which is a very good prospect ultimately.
