Fight Between Original Congress & Valasa Congress

The new 108 appointments in Telangana Congress has created a storm and many senior Congress leaders have openly expressed their displeasure over the appointments. Having said that, the seniors of T-Congress i.e, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Jagga Reddy, Damodar Rajanarasimha, Madhuyashki Goud, Premsagar and others met at CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka’s residence.

In this meeting the seniors opined that the original Congress leaders were snubbed while leaders who joined Congress from other parties were given priority. “It’s original Congress versus the migrated (Valasa) Congress. Out of the 108 appointments made, 54 people are from TDP and other parties. How is this possible? This is not a good sign and T-Congress will lose a lot with the new appointments. We have decided to go with the slogan ‘Save Congress’ and will be meeting Congress high command and inform about the newly appointed leaders and their past history. Internal democracy is part of Congress but I was never biased in appointing leaders,” said Uttam Kumar Reddy.

Known for being a true loyalist of Congress party, Bhatti Vikramarka also accepted that there is something wrong in the new appointments. “I have to accept that the new committees are inappropriate and many leaders brought to my notice about their disappointment. Seeing them I was upset and we have collectively decided to save the Congress party from outsiders,” said Bhatti Vikramarka.

Other leaders added that the new leadership of T-Congress is trying to capture the party with their followers and it would not do any benefit. Some leaders condemned T-PCC chief Revanth Reddy’s remark as ‘Covert.’ “We did not join the Congress party shifting multiple parties. We are born in Congress and will die in Congress,” added former deputy CM Damodar Rajanarasimha.

On the whole the senior Congress leaders have ganged up against Revanth Reddy but will they be able to push the dominance of Revanth? It looks tough because Congress leadership seems to have fully supporting Revanth.
