Revanth’s Gang Mass Resignations Shocks T-Congress

The internal conflicts in Telangana Congress reached a new height with mass resignations of members who were recently appointed in the Executive Committee. This mass resignation came a day after T-Congress seniors Bhatti Vikramarka, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Jagga Reddy and others met and added that migrated (valasa) leaders were given priority in the PCC committees.

Among the resigned people from T-PCC chief Revanth Reddy’s gang are MLA Seethakka, Patel Rajesh Reddy and 10 others. MLA Seethakka was confronted by the media at Gandhi Bhavan, she backed Revanth Reddy and was angered with seniors’ comments.

“We are in Congress and have been working for the party’s growth. Yet some people are trying to picture us as TDP leaders. If seniors care for the party, they should have raised their concerns with Congress high command but it’s not a good sign to talk before the media and damage the Congress party’s reputation further,” said Seethakka.

When asked about her resignation, Seethakka replied that PCC positions are not a big deal for us. “With or without PCC roles, we will continuously work for the party,” stated Seethakka and she also found fault with seniors for blaming Revanth Reddy.

“Revanth Reddy has done everything for Congress. Be it organizing Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra or encouraging people to join Congress in the membership, Revanth Reddy was behind everything. It’s inappropriate to fault Revanth,” said Seethakka.

Amidst this crisis situation, Revanth Reddy reached out to senior most leader Jana Reddy and is holding talks. Media reports inform that both Revanth and Jana Reddy might address this issue at the earliest.

This is yet another case of a fight for dominance in T-Congress and it’s a usual drama that gets repeated. But Revanth Reddy’s side tactically played the ace in pushing the seniors into defense.
