Former Congress president and Rahul’s mom Sonia Gandhi, party General Secretary and sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra along with her husband Robert Vadra joined Rahul Gandhi on the yatra in Delhi.

The Bharat Jodo yatra began on September 7th from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. I’m Here As Indian: Kamal Haasan

Veteran actor Kamal Haasan has joined Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo yatra in New Delhi. Kamal Haasan said he attended this as an Indian. He indicated that it wasn’t political, but he attended the Yatra for Swadesh. He said all political party lines have to blur for the country. Addressing the large gathering, Kamal answered the question that is on everyone’s lips at the venue. “Many people ask me why I’m here. I’m here as an Indian,” Kamal said.

“My father was a Congressman. I had various ideologies and started my own political party but when it comes to the country, all political party lines have to blur. I blurred that line and came here,” he added. Actor-politician Kamal Haasan is the founder and president of Makkal Needhi Maiam (which means Centre For People’s Justice) political party in Tamil Nadu.
