Tragedy: 8 Dead In Chandrababu’s Kandukur Sabha!

Tragedy struck Chandrababu Naidu’s public meeting at Kandukur in Nellore district. Crowds gathered in large numbers for the meeting resulting in a stampede.

This resulted in the loss of eight lives. Some people reportedly fell into the nearby drainage and incurred severe injuries. TDP leaders have realised this and rushed them to the hospital. But seven people have succumbed to the injuries.

Learning about this shocking incident during his meeting, Naidu stopped his speech midway and went to the hospital to console the victims. Naidu expressed his shock and deep sadness over the incident.

He said the loss of the lives of innocent people has pained him. Chandrababu has immediately announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the victims families and assured complete support to their families. 

This is a tragedy in Chandrababu’s public meeting. Naidu’s meetings are witnessing large crowds in recent times. So, more care is required to avoid any such untoward incidents. More details are yet to be known.
