Other day comedian Ali who joined YSR Congress and finally got a post as well, commented that he is good friends with Janasenani Pawan Kalyan but is willing to contest against him if the Jagan-command asks him to do so. Well, if that’s what happens, then Pawan Kalyan is going to win an election for the first time.
Wherever Pawan Kalyan contests this time, the result is not that easy for YSR Congress, because the mood of voters is something different right now. Back then, it was TDP’s rule, and YS Jagan did a lot of Pada Yatra as politically he was not hurdled like how the present incumbent government does to opponents now. At that time, the sympathy wave worked out and Jagan made a big sweep.
But now, Jagan is in power and the ground reality is very different and messed up too. For that reason, Pawan should be dealt with a strong opponent but not someone who would make good comedy just for the sake of grabbing power. Only a local strong leader would be able to take him head-on. Otherwise, if someone like Ali contests against him, surely Pawan Kalyan will clean sweep the election even without any campaigning, that’s what political observers believe.
And that is the reason they are advising Ali to stop doing comedy in real life, while he’s good on the reel anyway.
