RRR Handled It The Right Way

The Vinayaka Chaturthi season is finally upon us and all of India is celebrating the auspicious season with its full heart. There are Ganesh Pandals everywhere across the Telugu states as well and people are having a great time celebrating the processions.

But there has been one major problem associated with the celebrations, and that is the demand to permit DJ sound systems. This has been a debateable topic for a long time.

This matter had reached Andhra Pradesh, deputy speaker, and the MLA of Undi Assembly constituency Raghu Rama Krishna Raju and he handled it very well with a a lot of composure.

At a time when Andhra Pradesh administration has largely granted permission for DJ sound systems, RRR, very clear that there is no permission for this in his constituency. He has been rightly citing the examples of youth dying due to heart irregularities from exposure to excessive sound from these DJ systems as his reasoning.

When a bunch of youngsters approached RRR on this matter, and requested DJ permission, the deputy speaker apparently made them read news paper which reported how youth was dying due to DJ sounds. The bunch of youngsters then promised RRR that they would carry out the Vinayaka Chaturthi procession without DJ sounds and he appreciated them for it.

It is common for youngsters to want to experience DJ sound systems, but excessively loud music can be harmful and may affect heart function. RRR made this valid and medically relevant point to strengthen his case and successfully addressed the DJ aspect in his Undi segment.
