Why Reddy & Reddy Unhappy With Jagan?

Dissent among senior YCP leaders is increasing by the day. The senior leaders are disillusioned with the party leadership and have begun efforts to switch loyalties. This is more prominent in the south coast region of the state.

Recently, YCP senior leader, former minister and Venkatagiri MLA Anam Ramnarayan Reddy had made some sensational comments against the government. Following these remarks, his position in the constituency has been downsized. There is information that Ramnarayana Reddy is trying to shift to the TDP in the future.

Similarly, another leader belonging to a prominent family, Magunta Srinivasula Reddy, who is also the Ongole MP, is also reportedly planning to switch sides to the TDP. For the last few months, Magunta has been staying away from the party programmes. He even skipped meeting the CM during his tour to Prakasam district. He is dissatisfied for not being given a prominent position in the district and not being respected by the party men.

There is speculation that Anam Ramnarayan Reddy and Magunta Srinivasula Reddy would get into the TDP’s fold soon.

It is learnt that Anam is planning to meet his acolytes in Nellore. He would hold an Atmeeya Sabha with his supporters from Nellore, Venkatagiri and Atmakur during which he would discuss about quitting the YCP and joining the TDP.

On Sunday, Nellore Rural YCP MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy made some denigrating remarks against the government yet again. Kotamreddy had slammed his own party men and the party several times in the past. Then the CM called him and spoke to him. However, he continued to be in the offensive and said that the AP Intelligence officials are spying on him. He also alleged that his phones were being tapped.

There is speculation that Kotamreddy has decided to quit the party and hence, had been making some harsh comments against the YCP and the government. However, he cannot join the TDP. Even if he joins the TDP, there will be severe opposition from those already in the party. Chandrababu Naidu too knows about this.

There is buzz that Kotamreddy is in contact with BJP MP Sujana Chowdary giving rise to speculation that he might join the BJP MP.
