Did Avinash Tell You How Viveka Died?, Questions CBI

The CBI sleuths grilled Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s OSD Krishna Mohan Reddy and CM wife Bharati’s personal assistant Naveen for more than six hours. The investigation agency officials asked the duo about the number of calls made to them by Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy on the day when former minister Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy was murdered. In a bid to get to the facts regarding the murder, the sleuths asked several more questions about the phone conversations on the day when the murder took place.

According to information, the CBI sleuths tried to match the information given by the duo with the call data available with them, whenever they felt there were differences between the information given by the duo.

Did Avinash tell you that Viveka died when he called you? If so, did he tell you how he died? What was the reaction of Jagan and Bharati on hearing to the news? These and several other questions were posed by the sleuths to the duo.

Based on the information given by Naveen and Krishna Mohan Reddy, the CBI is likely to serve notices to several other ‘key persons’ associated with the case.

The CBI identified that Avinash made several calls to Krishna Mohan Reddy and Naveen on the day when Viveka was murdered. Naveen was grilled on December 28 on the same issue.

The duo were interrogated by the CBI team, led by SP Ram Singh, at the Kadapa Central jail guest house. The developments that occurred on the fateful day of Viveka’s death were questioned in detail by the sleuths.

Security was beefed up at the central jail in view of the interrogation of the duo. The CBI officials are likely to stay put in Kadapa for more days to complete the probe into the murder case. YCP leaders were also visible on the jail premises.

After the interrogation, the duo, along with government Chief Secretary K.S. Jawahar Reddy, proceeded to Tirupati in his vehicle, which created a flutter in the political circles.
