KCR Targets 40k Telugu People In Nanded

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao is all set to spread the wings of his national party, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). The first-ever BRS meeting outside Telangana will be held today in the Nanded city of Maharashtra.

Nanded has been filled with pink hoardings and cut-outs ahead of this meeting. The event will be held at the Guru Gobind Singh ground which is located opposite Nanded Railway Station.

There are more than 40,000 Telugu people residing in Nanded. It is one of the districts in Maharashtra which share its border with Telangana. Due to the high presence of the Telugu people, KCR chose Nanded as the venue for this huge gathering. More than 25000 people are expected to attend this meeting.

The entire political world is focusing on this meeting as it is BRS’s first event outside Telangana. Many sarpanches and political leaders in and around Nanded are expected to join BRS in this meeting. BRS MLAs Indrakaran Reddy, Balka Suman, Vittal Reddy and Shakeel looked after the arrangements of the meeting. Various ministers and MLAs of the BRS party are expected to attend the meeting.

KCR will reach Nanded around 01:00 PM. After landing in the city, he will pay respects to the Sivaji statue located near the meeting location. Later, he will visit the popular Gurudwara. He will participate in the meeting at around 01:30 pm. He will visit the City Pride Hotel at 02:30 pm. At 4 pm, he will address the press meet with the national media. He will return back to Hyderabad at 5 pm.
