Ugadi Special: Jagan moving to Vizag in March!

Y S Jagan

At the curtain raiser event of Global Investors Summit, AP CM YS Jagan had announced that he will be shifting to Vizag which is the new capital of Andhra Pradesh. This announcement has consequences as we hear that the CMO and general administration is scouting for a suitable place for the camp office.

According to the AP Secretariat sources there is a possibility of setting up the CM’s camp office in Visakhapatnam in the third week of next month. Telugu New Year i.e, Ugadi falls on March 22nd and CM Jagan is in thoughts to move to Vizag for the festival.

The proposed ‘Three Capitals’ matter is in court and will take ample time for its final verdict. Sensing these time consuming cases, CM Jagan wants to shift to Vizag at the earliest so that he can picture that he has done something with the ‘Three Capitals’ idea.

Recently the officials of Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) inspected the road next to MVP Nyaya Vidya Parishad Law College and there are high chances CM Jagan’s camp office might be set up here.

Initially Jagan planned to establish a camp office at Rushikonda beach and accordingly the Tourism Department has taken up construction. But it was learned that the construction will not meet the deadline of Ugadi festival. Besides this, the VMRDA officials inspected four or five buildings for the camp office in Rushikonda, IT Hills, Madhurawada and Kommadi areas.

However, we hear that this search is going on without any intimating to the media to keep it away from the limelight as it can create unwanted noise in political circles.
